Fish Vero Beach with Captain Tim Simos

Do you like to catch fish ?  Would you like to catch more fish than you did on your last trip ?

If you answered yes to either question, then please continue reading . . . the concept is simple, as you may have heard before in the following statement.  "If you are given a fish, you eat for a day, if you are taught to fish, you'll eat for the rest of your life."

Well, if you would like to learn how you can catch more fish on your own, then please consider a charter fishing trip with Captain Tim Simos.  Capt. Tim is more than willing to share his knowledge gathered over 35 years of fishing experiences in the Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Port Saint Lucie areas, often volunteering such information.

Capt. Tim enjoys teaching adults and especially kids, the basics and finer points to a successful day of fishing.  There are so many aspects and elements to the sport of fishing, it could get confusing.  Capt. Tim can help simplify that for you, that is, if you are willing to learn . . . Or, if you are just looking to catch a bunch of fish and enjoy the water around Vero and Fort Pierce for the day, Capt. Tim can accommodate your needs as well.

Below are what a few of Capt. Tim's Clients have to say about his charter service:

"I have been charter fishing with Capt. Tim Simos along with my son, and father-in-law out of Fort Pierce several times.  We have enjoyed every trip, and Tim is very knowledgeable of the area as well as conditions.  He takes his time showing us different fishing techniques for different fish.  A true Professional."

Hi my friend Tim:
"We were just talking with my family the wonderful time we passed together fishing with my son, and the great moments.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Also thank you for your teachings and patience. We were also impressed with the security measures you took with us.  Hope in the future we can do this again. Keep up the great charter experience."

Best regards

Not only does Capt. Tim have great fishing instincts, he has an environmental science degree and knows a lot about the sea life that you will see on your charter.

Here are some things that give you and Capt. Tim an advantage while out on the water:

  1. He's been Scuba diving/snorkeling  and observing fish behavior for over 30 years.  Almost every location you will fish, he has seen underwater.
  2. He has created the strongest braided line to mono/fluorocarbon leader connection in the world.  Just google Sport Fishing Magazine & Tim Simos.
  3. You'll also use specialized rigs, lures, and hooks on your charter that he has created.
  4. He runs a larger & more comfortable 22 foot Ranger to get to the fish.
  5. He has a good understanding of the conditions that are conducive to catching fish and can assess the current conditions to know whether to stay or leave a location.
  6. Keeps his rods, reels and tackle well maintained with FRESH line.
  7. Sharpens hooks on a daily basis before they are used on your charter.
  8. Has an environmental science degree and knows a lot about the sea life that you will see on your charter.

Well, I did not realize there were so many things that Captain Tim does that gives him an advantage on the water, but I think you are starting to get the picture.  And speaking of pictures, there is a reason why the photos on this site look so good.  It is because he is a professional fishing photographer for over 20 years, and has been published in major sport fishing magazines.   This means that when you hand him your cell phone to photograph your trophy catch, it is in skilled hands.

So if you are ready to catch fish in Vero Beach, Fort Pierce or Port Saint Lucie, then give Tim a call at 772-475-0333 or email him at iliv4fish@aol.com to reserve your date.  Thank you.
